Privacy Policy

MeasureLab ("the app") is a measuring-tools application. We designed it to work without collecting your personal data. This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not do with information.

1. We do not collect personal data

MeasureLab does not collect, store on our servers, sell, or share any personal information. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites.

2. Data stays on your device

Your settings, calibration values, and saved measurement history are stored locally on your device only. They are never transmitted to us. Deleting the app removes this data.

3. Sensor access

The tools use device sensors, processed entirely on-device and never transmitted:

• Motion sensors — tilt, angle, plumb and stud-finder tools.
• Camera — the laser level and AR camera ruler.
• Microphone — the sound-level meter (audio is analysed in real time and never recorded or stored).
• Location — used only to provide true-north heading in the compass. Your location is not stored or transmitted.
• Photo library (add only) — only when you choose to save a measurement photo.

4. ArchiGPT (AI assistant)

ArchiGPT is an optional AI assistant included with MeasureLab Premium. When you send it a message, the text you type is sent to our AI provider, DeepSeek, so it can write a reply. That transfer is covered by DeepSeek's own privacy policy. We do not store your conversations on our servers. Please do not type personal or sensitive information into the chat.

5. Subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

6. Children

MeasureLab does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
